An extremely attractive and desirable Regence style sofa. Back, front and sides all covered in a warm grey Belgian linen, with nail stud edging. Three feather filled base cushions. Bone coloured wood frame showing natural age related wear. The red detailing would have originally been gilded however it has almost completely gone. France, late 19th century.
